LOS ANGELES CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Los Angeles City Fire Department is an all risk life safety organization. Nearly 1,000 firefighters are on duty at 106 fire stations, protecting more than four million souls. The Department responds to on average 1,200 emergency responses per day, and often transports more than 550 people to local hospitals during a 24-hour period. The relationship with MySafe:LA is a strong example of a successful private/public collaboration.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Los Angeles County Fire Department is responsible for providing fire protection to more than four million residents living in 59 cities and all unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
Just as the communities we serve grow and diversify, so does the County of Los Angeles. Together with the Board of Supervisors (Board), Chief Executive Office, and 37 County Departments, we continue to partner and collaborate on the many challenging issues confronting our communities (i.e., homelessness, mental health, youth programs, etc.).

EARTHQUAKE COUNTY ALLIANCE
Earthquake Country Alliance, Southern California (ECA SoCal) is one of three regional alliances that comprise the statewide Earthquake Country Alliance, a public-private partnership of leading earthquake professionals, emergency managers, government officials, business and community leaders, and others. MySafe:LA supports the ECA with co-sponsorships, educational workshops, and drills during the Great California Shakeout.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EARTHQUAKE CENTER
The Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC) was founded as a Science & Technology Center on February 1, 1991, with joint funding by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS). SCEC coordinates fundamental research on earthquake processes using Southern California as its principal natural laboratory. MySafe:LA collaborates with training and education related to the Great California Shakeout.
